To celebrate Roald Dahl Day on September 13th we have a copy of one of his popular children’s books to give away!
Sitting in a hut at the bottom of his garden, surrounded by odd bits and pieces such as a suitcase (used as a footrest), his own hipbone (which he’d had replaced) and a heavy ball of metal foil (made from years’ worth of chocolate wrappers), Roald Dahl wrote some of the world’s best-loved stories including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Twits, The Witches, The BFG, Fantastic Mr Fox, James and the Giant Peach and lots more.
September is Roald Dahl’s birth month, and each year it is celebrated with a wonderful array of events centred around his birthday on 13th September. This year also sees the arrival of the first Twit-errific app: Roald Dahl’s Twit or Miss!
To celebrate we’re giving away some Roald Dahl books courtesy of Tara Book Company.
We have one copy of Fantastic Mr Fox and one copy of George’s Marvellous Medicine to give away.
