Fuhu have just unveiled 20-inch or 24-inch Big Tab tablets, designed to “promote increased social interaction, communication, collaboration, and socialized learning” for the entire family.

Main Features

The 20-inch model will have a screen resolution of 1600×900 while the even bigger 24-inch version tops out at 1920×1080.

Both have 16 GB of storage and a kickstand so they can be used right side up as well as flat on a floor or table.

The nabi Big Tab HD introduces 5 key built-in experiences:

  • “Two Play” – a suite of classic games such as Checkers, Chess, Backgammon, Tic Tac Toe, Hangman and more.

Final Tips !

  • These things are vulnerable and need protecting.
  • Do have a look at the covers and cases available for the models you are interested in.
  • A silicone cover offers some protection against bumps and scrapes, and makes the tablet more grippable so it is less likely to drop in small hands.
  • When you get the tablet home – charge it, download the apps, play around so you know it works. You don’t want to have your excited child having to wait while you do this on Christmas morning.
