All Island Whale Watch Day is on Sunday, August 23rd 2016. Members of the public are invited to join the Irish Whale and Dolphin Group (IWDG) on one of 20 land-based whale watches being held at headlands around the Irish coast between 2:00-5:00 pm. Find your closest event.

The Ards Arts Centre in Down are hosting their annual Puppet Festival in venues across the county from May 22nd to 25th.

Easter Events

The Northern Ireland Adventure Weekend takes place on March 28th & 29th with 50 outdoor activities and events happening across Northern Ireland at reduced prices.

Roll Up Roll Up for the Easter Carnival at W5 Belfast. Join in the fun with old fashioned games that have been given a modern twist! Events run from March 28th to April 15th.

The MAC have a free Easter Egg Hunt on April 4th. Drop in from 10am to 7pm and see how many eggs you can find!

The Castle Espie Wetlands have a Giant Easter Bunny Hunt with egg-citing Easter Activities for families from March 30th to April 12th.

The Ulster American Folk Park have Easter Celebrations from April 4th to 6th. Step back in time for a Traditional Spring Fair Day from 1914.

The Armagh County Museum have an Easter Family Fun Day on Saturday March 28th from 12pm to 4pm. There will be FREE kids seasonal activities running all day.

Become a Cadbury Eggsplorer this Easter by taking part in the Cadbury National Trust Easter Egg Trail. There are 14 trails in Northern Ireland.

The 2015 Belfast St Patrick’s Day Festival and Concert takes place on March 17th from 12pm to 3pm leaving from Belfast City Hall.

Feile Earraigh runs from March 10th to 17th in Belfast with music and fun for all.

Armagh hosts a 2015 St Patrick’s Day Festival from March 12th to 17th.

  • Legenderry on Ice runs until  January 18th.
  • Discovery Farm at Ulster Folk & Transport Museum: Stroll back in time, uncover a way of life on the farms of 100 years ago as you explore a number of farmhouses and farm-related buildings.
  • True Colours Exhibition starts Friday January 16th, with artwork by some of the brightest young artists and designers in Northern Ireland’s schools and colleges. Students, families and the general public can visit at weekends and on weekday afternoons.
  • Winterland Express at W5 has extra dates now Saturdays January 10th, 17th and 24th FREE with admission to W5 and the ride lasts approximately 5 – 8 minutes.
