Dublin Zoo has created a special Outdoor Safari Trail following a one-way walking route which allows you to see, hear and learn about the animals safely during visits to the Zoo this summer. We have teamed up with SSE Airtricity to give two families the chance to head to Dublin Zoo for a day out!

This competition has closed now

The one-way route reinforces the social distancing guidelines and ensures that visitors will be able to see most of the animals around the zoo. See the herd of Asian elephants, South American tapirs, chimpanzees, the troop of Western lowland gorillas, Southern white rhinos (including the male rhino calf) and zebras.

Then visitors can also enjoy the California sea lions, the colony of Humboldt penguins (including two new-born chicks), ring-tailed lemurs, red-ruffed lemurs, snow leopards, Sulawesi crested macaques, orangutans, Siamang gibbons and Asian lions.

Dublin Zoo is much more than a fun-filled, stimulating day out for all the family… it’s also a place to learn about wild animals, especially endangered species. Dublin Zoo is a registered charity so every visit helps maintain Dublin Zoo to a high standard, develop new habitats and experiences and contribute to conservation programmes.

SSE Rewards customers can avail of a 20% discount off All Day Tickets to Dublin Zoo. You can also check the SSE Airtricity Eco Explorers Hub and learn all about sustainability and protecting our planet.

The Prize
