Win a Lego Technic Set from Bricks 4 Kidz

Have you got a Lego mad child in your house? You might just like to enter this competition as we have 3 amazing Lego Technic sets to give way thanks to Bricks 4 Kidz!

Florida-based Creative Learning Corporation developed Bricks 4 Kidz in 2008 as a hands-on class for students to build LEGO creations, with in excess of two million children attending the programs which operate in over forty countries worldwide.

Bricks 4 Kidz has now arrived in Ireland! Parents Joanne and John Hartnett have started Bricks 4 Kids in Fingal & Santry. They plan to offer LEGO® camps during school holidays, after-school clubs and in-class workshops all geared to science, technology, engineering and maths (S.T.E.M.), with kids using LEGO® to build models and play games.

“Themes like Super Heroes and Jurassic Park guide the program, and builders also get their creations moving with motors and gears” says Joanne, a stay at home mother to four young boys.

Plans are also in place to open a Creativity Centre which will host birthday parties, school tours, parent & toddler mornings as well as a drop off facility to allow parents time out to shop in peace.

Here’s what one teacher had to say about the B4K camps:

“Bricks 4 Kidz is a fantastic and worthwhile experience for all children. As a teacher I have been very impressed with the problem-solving and fine-motor skills children gain from participating in the camp. These skills are vital for children and have a lasting positive impact on a child’s education. I would recommend the camps to anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable and educational opportunity for their child.”

Jonathon Hanley, teacher in Sacred Heart of Jesus school in Huntstown and summer tutor.
