About Bea’s Ocean Commotion
If you’re looking for a book to help build confidence and resilience with your child through positive talk, gratitude and happy thinking thoughts then Bea’s Ocean Commotion is a new book for children of all ages and explores how to manage feelings of worry. The first book in the series offers mindfulness techniques to regulate emotions and help deal with fears and anxieties.
Each book is designed to encourage and develop children’s emotional literacy. It is a beautifully illustrated rhyming book, which uses repetition to reinforce the key messages, all while children are enjoying a fun story.
The book also comes with a ‘Mindful Me with Bea’ pack, offering mindfulness techniques designed to help children practice gratitude and learn to use their breath as a tool to relax, calm, focus and think more clearly.

About the Authors
Claire Keating and Sinéad Dore are both primary school teachers. Between them, they have nearly thirty years of teaching experience and have completed numerous mindfulness courses, including MBSR and Creative Mindfulness Kids Practitioner (IMMA).
As mothers, teachers and mindfulness practitioners, they have always been very passionate about promoting mental health and children’s well-being – and so they created the Breathe with Bea series.
Their aim was to design and create exciting books to help children identify, recognise and manage a variety of feelings and emotions, all while providing them with the tools to help self-regulate.
