8-Bit Gaming Conference presents: Gamers Unite for the Homeless (FREE ENTRY)
April 14, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pmFree
8-Bit would like to Present:
GAMER’S UNITE FOR THE HOMELESS
Homelessness in Ireland is a huge issue and all of us here at 8-Bit and all our partners and sponsors want to do something to help tackle this ever growing problem. Anytime of the year is extremely dangerous to those on the streets and also those without regular accommodation.
In light of this we have partnered with Simon Community and ICHH to help raise awareness and much needed money for this amazing cause. We have also brought together some of the top names in the industry to help support us in this cause and so we ask you to come and join us 14th April 2018 at Griffith College for this unique event..
On the 14th April, we invite you between the hours of 10am & 4pm to Griffith College where we will be having Gaming Galore for everyone who shows up. This includes:
VR Experience (Future Shock)
Over 12 Table Top Arcades (Mini Arcade Rentals)
Over 25 Retro Gaming Consoles (Retrogaming.ie)
Youtube/Podcast Gaming Workshops (AlphaZoneGaming)
Retro Gaming Museum
Gaming Tournaments and Prizes
Music and More
Please not that this is a Free Entry Event although Tickets our limited. We would like to see as many people donate what they can, whether clothes/blankets/money at the event but this isn’t a requirement. We want to you to spread the word and help give back to such a worthy cause this April.
We will also be running a evening event for over 18’s from 7pm till 11pm. This event is a interactive table quiz with prizes/raffles/entertainment and more throughout. Its 20 euro per head with tables between 6-10. Once again tickets are very limited to this event and please contact us directly if your interested.
