Join the team of Old Cork Waterworks Experience for a day of discovery, exploration and investigation to celebrate Cruinniu na nÓg on Saturday June 23rd. Over the day you are invited to participate in dynamic demonstrations, engaging experiments, and enjoy a range of children’s activities in Victorian surroundings.
Our line up includes a bubble magic show from Scientific Sue, puzzle solving, hands on science experiments and much much more. All activities are designed to get children doing, making and creating while learning new skills and more importantly having fun.
Admission is free on the day; pre-booking of seats for the Bubble Magic Show is advisable as limited spaces are available. All other activities are available on a drop in basis.
Old Cork Waterworks are located on the Lee Road. The space, now a popular visitor attraction, contains a Visitor Centre with interactive exhibits, a steam centre with the original boilers and huge steam engines, a schools resource centre, a coffee dock, a picnic area and children’s playground and is fully wheelchair accessible.
