Seomra Traidisiúnta coming to The Presentation Centre, Enniscorthy this July!
A three day series of workshops will take place on 23rd, 24th & 25th July. Tuesday – Thursday, 10am -1pm each day.
Suitable for 10 years +
These workshops combine our rich oral traditions, traditional music, the Irish language, recording, archiving, and performance to deliver a valuable traditional arts and archiving education for young people. The workshops will be facilitated by experienced tutors from Traditional Archive Channel and Ceol Mo Chroí.
Traditional Instruments and recording devices welcome.
There will be plenty of hands on learning and demonstrations with filming & editing equipment. We will create a film piece together during the workshops 🎬
Roles for everyone to get involved in ranging from musical performance (singers/musicians), reciting, interviewing, filming, editing, archiving etc.
Please bring a packed lunch, drinks, tunes, songs, cúpla focail, stories and laughter. Bígí linn!
