St Patrick is famed for being the founder of Christianity in Ireland, as well as for banishing all the snakes out of Ireland and into the sea. However, there are some snakes which are rumoured to have hidden away in Kilkenny and only emerge in the springtime.
We invite you to bring your family to Nore Valley Park for the Annual St Patrick’s Day Snake Hunt, and finish the job Paddy started!
The snake hunt takes place on Saturday 17th and Monday 19th March, between 10am-4pm
This is a free event, although normal farm entry applies. Tickets may be booked online at www.norevalleypark.com, or just turn up on the day!
If you are searching for things to do in Kilkenny, or for a fun family day out, look no further than Nore Valley Park. For an educational experience of visiting a working farm, to the fun activities on offer (tractor and trailer ride, 3D maze, pedal go-karts and crazy golf are available at additional cost), everyone young and old and in between will enjoy their day out in Kilkenny.
