STOP MOTION WORKSHOP CREATE YOUR WORLD IN A BOX
Do you like having fun creating videos and sharing it in your social media? So, what do you think about creating cool Halloween’s stop motion videos? And you can invite your friends and family to be part of your filming crew! Using storyboarding, building a set, characters and open-source software, participants will create a short stop motion animation inside a “studio box”. This workshop is designed to guide you through all the process of producing a stop motion animation and give you the tools and tips for you to create your own home studio in a box and start to shooting original videos that will stand out!
For the workshop you will need to have a computer for follow the class trough Zoom and a Phone or Tablet with camera and Wi-Fi where you will need to download a free stop motion app.
STOP MOTION APP – There is a number of Stop Motion Apps that you can download for free and if you want have all the features you can upgrade for a small price.Ex. Cloud Stop Motion (IOS & Android) (This app allows editing and add sound effects in your movie in the free version) Stop Motion Studio ( IOS & Android) Imotion (IOS), I CAN ANIMATE (IOS & Andorid),

For the workshop you will need 1. a smartphone, tablet or a digital camera to take pictures 2. Upload the free stop motion App to shoot your film. The app is free but to use all features you can upgrade for a small price. After shooting you can use a free app to edit your movie. 3. A small carboard box to be used as a film setting, some art material to build your scenario, lighting that you can find at home and whatever your imagination can use to create your original film.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Fernanda Ferrari is a multidisciplinary artist who has a special passion for Stop Motion Animation. Along with 15 years of experience in film production, she discovered that stop motion is the best way to tell a story and to give life to characters and objects, even with a zero budget.
She had facilitated workshops for children and adults in different countries, helping them to create their own magic world!
