FOR SCHOOLS: The action takes place in Paris, 1890, one week after Vincent Van Gogh’s suicide at the age of 37, as his grieving brother, Theo, recalls his life through the many letters they shared. An intense delivery reveals the contents of the letters, allowing us to feel the loss, anger,
frustration and even the joy of his tumultuous relationship with his sibling. Anyone who loves art, passion and life itself should see this play; it is a renewing experience and an insight into one of history’s most gifted, haunted masters.
