Chez Emily was established in 1996 by Ferdinand Vandaele & Helena Hemeryck. After gathering experience in the land of chocolate (Belgium) they decided to start their own artisan chocolate outlet. They named the business after their daughter Emily.
Chez Emily combines the very best raw materials, the freshest local ingredients and uses only the highest quality Belgian chocolate.
The couverture chocolate used is a high quality Belgian chocolate that contains only cocoa butter. No substitutes or additives are used in the chocolate in place of the cocoa butter and this gives the chocolate a creamy mellow flavour, a shiny appearance and a snappier snap!
Located in Dublin and supporting the local community, Chez Emily sources the best local Irish ingredients for use in the recipes for their handmade chocolate fillings.
Chez Emily are creators of artisan chocolates. They conceive, design and create handmade chocolates, none are mass produced and this is reflected in the diversity of their chocolate designs and tastes. No artificial preservatives are used in any of our chocolate fillings.
