Tough Mudder takes place in Loughcrew on July 9th & 10th 2016, and anyone can take part, it they are feeling really tough enough and can work as a team! What is Tough Mudder?
Tough Mudder Ireland is a team-oriented 10 mile obstacle course designed to test physical strength and mental grit. Tough Mudder puts camaraderie over finisher rankings, and is not a race, but a team challenge.
Who is it for?
Anyone who feels that they are tough enough and want to become part of the family of the world’s biggest and best obstacle course. Tough Mudder is for ages 16 and over with the Fruit Shoot Mini Mudder for 7-12 year olds.
Mini Mudders must be at least 3.5 foot tall (1.1 metres) in order to take part. All Mini Mudders must have at least one adult to every two Mini Mudders, on their team.
How do I get involved?
There are numerous ways to get involved:
The first option is to participate in Tough Mudder or Mini Mudder. Each person will receive a Tough Mudder t-shirt as well as the prestigious Tough Mudder 2016 headband, forever labelling them as a Tough Mudder.
Secondly, all Mudder’s love an audience, so invite friends and family along to cheer you on and enjoy the event. Or come along yourself and watch the teams in action. Is is only €10 per person, and this also gives you full access to the Mudder village for the day.
Finally, in order for such a big event to take place help is needed. For Tough Mudder 2016, volunteers are required to keep the event running smoothly. As well as being part of the backbone of the event, volunteers will get a discounted rate if they wish to participate in Sunday’s Tough Mudder.
