Pine Forest Art Centre offer Easter camps for children aged 5 to 16 years. Each camp involves the children getting creative and back to nature, weather permitting.
In spring time the mountain is fresh, green and full of promise. So too are the Pine Forest pupils. Five days later they leave as seasoned Pine Foresters – feeling capable and confident with hands-on experience in a range of skills like drawing, painting, clay modelling, card construction, foam work, model magic and beading.
They’ll be fitter too, after daily nature walks up and down the valley through our beautiful plantation of 7,000 native Irish trees.
Archaeology Explorer Easter Camps, Dublin
The School of Irish Archaeology (SIA) have 2 Easter Camps for 2020 providing a unique insight into the past for young explorers. Camps run in Harold’s Cross Dublin from April 6th to 10th and 14th – 17th 2020 and are suitable for kids aged 7 to 12 years.

Canoeing Ireland Training Centre runs Kayaking Camps over the Easter holidays. These camps are aimed at juniors and will run over the two week school break. Junior Camp (10-13 yrs. age) Mornings 10: 00 – 13:00 and Senior Camp (12 – 16 yrs. age) 10:00 – 15:00.
The aim of the camps is to promote the sport of kayaking by introducing young people to it in a safe and fun environment, to progress those who enjoy the sport already. Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday 12 & 13 April
On Easter Sunday and Monday Birr Castle Gardens & Science Centre will have an “Easter Egg Hunt”. During your Easter trail you will meet with the Easter Bunny who will be joined by Henny Penny, Larry the Lamb, Quackers the Duck and the Mad Hatter. Once you complete the trail you can pick up your Easter Egg from the Mad Hatter…all going well!

“Wild Things Discovery Camp” Easter Camp at Castlecomer Discovery Park, Kilkenny
“Wild Things Discovery Camp” for Easter 2020 takes place at Castlecomer Discovery Park in Kilkenny for ages 7-12. The week long camp is a journey of adventure, fun and learning running from the 6th April – 10th April, 10am-4.30pm.
Along with doing adventure activities such as the tree top walk, climbing wall, boating, archery and high ropes, campers will also be immersed in learning about our forest environment. We will be using forest school principles to teach children about the flowers and fauna, and bush craft such as building a shelter and making a fire.
