With computers and technology playing a bigger role in our everyday lives, Whizzkids has a range of summer camps that open up the world of multimedia to boys and girls aged 8+.
Whizzkids run summer camps across the country in Ireland’s finest Universities and third level institutions including UCD, DCU, UCC, UL, NUIG, NUI Maynooth & IT Tralee.
Classes are broken up by age and those attending are supervised at all times by experienced teachers so you can be sure you will be well looked after.
Day camps are for boys and girls aged 8-15. Residential camps are for 13-17 year olds and are more advanced. Options available to book are:
Half-Day Summer Camps
Half day camps run from 9.30-1PM Monday to Friday and are open to 8-11 year olds. They will cover web design, spy academy and a little sports each day (weather permitting!!). This new offering is €80 for 1 or €75 for siblings.
Full-Day Summer Camps
The regular camps run from 9.30AM to 3.30PM, Monday to Friday and are open to 8-15 year olds. Each camp is a mix of activities each day all with a high-tech theme. Activities covered include web design, desktop publishing, video game programming, animation, movie-making a host of hi-tech challenges in our spy academy and one sports activity each day. Costs €149 for 1 or €285 for 2 siblings
Residential Summer Camps
Residential Summer Camps are for teenagers only. As well as the multimedia activities of the day camps, residential camps also includes more advanced programming than that covered in the day camps. There are 2 types. A 6 day on-campus programme which runs from Sunday to Saturday and the Ten Day Tech ‘n’ Tours which includes excursions off campus. For full details visit Residential Camps
