“As the festival goes into its 4th year we are looking to grow the festival and attract events that will appeal to all ages within the family market. Bringing the likes of ramprage tv-a professional BMX display crew, would be an ideal fit into the programme for the teenager in the family unit. This spectacle has a massive crowd appeal and a large following in the south east area.”

Waterford & Suir Valley Railway
Although most of the summer events are over by September there are still some left for family fun. However the Suir Valley railway is great for a family day out at any time. You can see the beauty of the Suir Valley from a period carriage and take in the wonderful panoramic views of the River Suir.
The railway is family friendly and runs mostly along the picturesque banks of the River Suir providing views of the world famous Mount Congreve Gardens. This area is only accessible by train. The train station is located just outside the village of Kilmeaden.
