Children’s Events/Activities

Children’s Art Classes for 6-11 year olds takes place every Saturday at 10.30am and 11.30am. Booking is essential. Please note that the Library is closed Saturdays and Mondays of Bank Holiday Weekends.

Happy Hour for Toddler Group every Thursday from 10.30am – 12.00pm, includes Storytime.

Junior Book Club every third Wednesday of the month at 3.30pm.


Pembroke Library serves a catchment area centred on Ballsbridge, a residential area on Dublin’s southside 2 miles from the city centre and situated between Sandymount on the coast and Donnybrook inland.

Library Access

This location is wheelchair accessible, and an Induction loop system for use with hearing aids is available. Assistive technology for people with visual impairment, reading difficulties and for people whose first language is not English is also available.
