The OPW has partially re-opened areas at many of its Heritage Sites so we have put together the list of which OPW Heritage Ireland sites we can now visit.

The Government has announced information on OPW Heritage Ireland sites with details of what is open at each site, and also special times for cocooners.

Some sites will have to operate at reduced capacity in order to safely achieve social distancing. Other Heritage Ireland/OPW Sites not listed here will remain under review. OPW will continue to work to re-open sites where possible over coming weeks and months.

Altamont, Carlow

Gardens & Parkland and Car Park are open.

Arbour Hill Cemetery, Dublin

Full site now open.

Bective Abbey, Meath

Full site now open.

Blaskets, Kerry

Full site now open.

Brú Visitor Centre, Meath

Dowth – Grounds only

Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery, Sligo

Grounds only open. No access to Visitor Centre.

Casino, Dublin

The Casino Parkland & Car Park are open. Casino Marino is closed for works.

Castletown House, Kildare

Parklands and Car Park open. Castletown House has reopened, limits to numbers in
house may be applied to avoid overcrowding.

Céide Fields, Mayo

Full site open.

Charles Fort, Cork

Full site open, no access to indoor spaces.

Clonmacnoise, Offaly

Full site open, half price admission until end of year.

Corlea Trackway, Longford

Full site open.

Cong Abbey, Mayo

Grounds only open.

Ennis Friary, Clare

Grounds are now open. Access to Friary closed.

Farmleigh, Dublin

Gardens, Parklands & Car Park are open. Guided tours of the grounds and Farmleigh Galleries. House remains closed.

Fore Abbey, Westmeath

Full site now open.

Fota Arboretum, Cork

Pleasure Gardens and Walled Gardens have special times for cocooners 10am-1pm.

Gallarus Oratory, Kerry

Site now open.

Garden of Remembrance, Dublin

Garden is now open.

Garinish Island, Cork

Garinish Island has limited visits from July 3rd with a limited offering from the café. Half price admission until the end of the year.

Glebe, Donegal

Parklands, Car Park and the Glebe Galleries are open. Glebe House remains closed.

Glendalough, Wicklow
