Best Easter Movies For Families
Hop
E.B., the Easter Bunny’s teenage son, doesn’t want to take over from his father as the next Easter Bunny — he wants to head to Hollywood and become a drummer in a rock ‘n’ roll band.
In LA he’s taken in by Fred, an out-of-work slacker who accidentally hits E.B. with his car and who, as it happens, has his own dream of becoming the next Easter Bunny. A fun, silly watch for the whole family.

It’s The Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown
Take a step back in time with Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, who are busy getting ready for Easter. Join them on their shopping trips and as they decorate their eggs.
While most of the gang gets stuck into the Easter preparations, Linus is convinced it’s all a waste of time — he’s sure the Easter Beagle will take care of everything instead, though his pleas fall on deaf ears. A gentle, nostalgic classic that’s easy to watch with younger kids.

Ben Hur
Ben-Hur is a 1959 American epic historical drama set in ancient Rome, starring Charlton Heston. It won a record 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture. When a Jewish prince is betrayed and sold into slavery by a Roman friend, he regains his freedom and returns for revenge.
At the time it was the most expensive film ever made, with the largest sets built for any picture up to that point, and it contains a nine-minute chariot race that’s still regarded as one of cinema’s most famous sequences. It’s a longer, more grown-up watch, so it suits older kids and teens best.

Rise of the Guardians
Rise of the Guardians follows the Guardians — North (Santa Claus), the Tooth Fairy, Bunnymund (the Easter Bunny) and the Sandman — who enlist Jack Frost to help stop the evil spirit Pitch from engulfing the world in darkness.
When Pitch launches his assault on Earth, the Immortal Guardians team up to protect the innocence of children everywhere. A colourful, action-packed watch that ties nicely into Easter thanks to Bunnymund.
Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Mystery of The Easter Chipmunk
A cute film featuring the three squeaky voices kids know and love. The catchy music adds to a great storyline in which Alvin is convinced the real Easter Bunny is actually his grampa — a chipmunk! There’s a fun twist along the way, plus the classic “AAALLLVVINN!!” moment from Dave. Great to watch on Easter Sunday with a handful of chocolate.
