This easy paper mouse craft is one of our favourites — it’s quick to put together, doesn’t need any fancy materials, and ends with an adorable little mouse your child will want to name straight away.

Easy Paper Mouse Craft
You Will Need
- Paper
- Googly eyes
- Pom poms
- Pipe cleaners
- Markers or colouring pencils
- Scissors, tape, and glue

What To Do
1. Fold an A4 sheet of paper in half and cut out a half circle.
2. Unfold the piece of paper and cut the circle in half. This will create the body for two mice.
3. Roll the ends of the half-circle towards each other to create a cone shape. Use glue to stick and secure the ends together.
4. Use the leftover paper to draw and cut out 4 teardrop shapes — these will become the ears.
5. Use markers and/or colouring pencils to colour in the ears.
6. Fold the top part of each teardrop shape, add a little glue, and stick the ears to the body of your mouse.
7. Apply the googly eyes just under the ears.
8. Cut the pipe cleaners in half (or leave them long if you want extra-long whiskers!) and glue them to the bottom of your mouse, right underneath the top of the cone.
9. Glue the pom-pom to the top and voilà! You just made a mouse!
Top crafty tip: use scrapbook paper instead of regular paper to make your paper mouse a little sturdier.
Now all that’s left to do is name your new friend — and maybe find a bit of pretend cheese for it to nibble on!
