Family-Friendly Events at Alliance Française

French Classes for Kids and Teens in Dublin
Alliance Française’s programmes for toddlers, children and teens cover every age from 12 months to 12 years and every level, from complete beginners to bilingual speakers. Courses run as 15-week terms, one-off workshops, holiday camps and summer activities throughout the year.
The toddler-and-parent programme, “A Petits Pas,” has previously received the European Language Label, an award coordinated by the European Commission and Léargas that recognises outstanding language teaching and learning.

Teen French Classes in Dublin

Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 15 students per group, to give every student plenty of speaking practice.
All classes follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, so children have the option of sitting the DELF (Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française) Primaires & Juniors exams — an internationally recognised diploma valid for life.

Alliance Française French Summer Camps
Each summer, Alliance Française runs French summer camps for children up to age 10, with weekly and two-weekly programmes available. Children are split into two age groups — 4 to 6 years and 7 to 10 years — and all levels of French are welcome. Past camp themes have included:
