What is it?
The Cúla4 App is available on iOS from the App Store (search for Cúla4) and works on iPhone, iPad and iPod. It gives younger viewers access to Cúla4’s Irish-language line-up whenever suits them — or suits you.
The app carries a large library of content, featuring versioned series such as Dennis & Gnasher, Peg & Cat, and Masha agus an Béar, alongside original Irish-language programming including science and nature shows like Is Eolaí Mé and Na Dúlradóirí. Shorter weekly segments cover games (including Minecraft in Irish), GAA skills, and DIY crafts.

Why is it different?
Lís Ní Dhálaigh, Output Director at TG4, has described the app as an important step for the service, extending access to Irish-language content for young audiences both in Ireland and abroad. It also meets younger viewers where they already are — used to watching on apps and devices rather than waiting for scheduled TV.
