Fancy a little lift? Join our 30-Day Happiness Challenge and give yourself permission to find a few moments of joy every single day.

Some months feel harder than others — shorter days, more time stuck indoors, and that in-between feeling before the festive season kicks in properly. Whatever the time of year, this challenge is here to help. It only takes a few minutes a day, and you can start whenever suits you.

Why a Happiness Challenge?

We put this together because parents rarely get told to look after themselves. Between school runs, work, and everything else on the to-do list, it’s easy to let your own wellbeing slip to the bottom. This challenge is a gentle nudge to carve out a small pocket of time each day for something that genuinely makes you feel a bit better.

There’s no pressure to be perfect about it. Do the activities in order, dip in and out, or repeat your favourites — whatever works for you.

Join in and don’t forget to tag us on Instagram using the hashtag #mkthappy. We’d love to see how you’re getting on.

How the 30-Day Happiness Challenge Works

It’s simple — one small activity a day for 30 days. Each one takes just a few minutes, and together they add up to a month of little happiness boosts. Start on Day 1 whenever you like, and work through at your own pace.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to start on a particular day?

No — start whenever suits you. The activities aren’t tied to specific dates, so you can begin on any day and work through them at your own pace.

What if I miss a day?

Don’t worry about it. Just pick up where you left off, or skip ahead to a different activity that appeals to you that day. The point is to feel better, not to add another thing to stress about.

Can I do this challenge with my kids?

Many of the activities — baking, dancing, a family dinner by candlelight, sharing a laugh — work brilliantly as family moments, while others, like the bubble bath or the digital detox, are lovely bits of “me time”.
