What is Soul About?

Determined to get back to his life, Joe teams up with a soul known as “22,” who has never understood the appeal of human life at all. As Joe tries to show “22” what’s so great about living, he ends up discovering something important about what it really means to have soul.
The film features the voices of Jamie Foxx, Tina Fey, Angela Bassett and Phylicia Rashad, among others. Musician Jon Batiste wrote the original jazz music for the film, while Oscar®-winning composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross (of Nine Inch Nails) created the original score — so the soundtrack is every bit as much a part of the experience as the story.
