Cavan Town Playground at Con Smith Park
An excellent modern playground with swings, slides, bridges and plenty of benches for parents too. Parking is available on the road, and there’s something here for children of all ages. There’s also an adult fitness park right next door, so grown-ups can get a workout in while the kids play.
Cavan County Museum Playground
Another great playground can be found at Cavan County Museum. Make a day of it by exploring the museum’s history exhibits, including their outdoor WW1 recreated trench experience, before letting the kids loose in the playground and grabbing a bite at the café. Toilets, benches and parking are all close by.

Virginia Playground
Situated on the Ramor Utd grounds along the Dublin Road, Virginia playground is well equipped and has benches and parking nearby — handy for a quick stop or a longer play session.
Bailieborough Playground
A well-equipped playground right in the middle of Bailieborough, easy to reach if you’re in the area.
Mullagh Community Playground
Located beside St Kilian’s Heritage Centre, Mullagh Community Playground has slides, swings (including a basket swing) and climbing equipment to keep kids entertained.
