Peach and Blueberry Smoothie

Looking for a healthy smoothie recipe the kids will actually ask for? This peach and blueberry smoothie is sweet, fruity, and packed with goodness — and it takes just a few minutes to whizz up in the blender. It’s a great way to use up ripe peaches or a bag of frozen blueberries, and perfect for busy mornings, after school, or a quick snack on a hot day.

Ingredients

  • blueberry smoothie5 oz / 150g or 1½ cups of fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 5 oz / 150g or 1 cup of chopped peaches
  • 120 ml / ½ cup of Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla both work well)
  • 60 ml / ¼ cup of milk
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • Ice cubes

Method

Add all the ingredients to your blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

If your smoothie is too thick, add a little more milk to loosen it up. If it’s too thin, add a few extra ice cubes and blend again until you get the consistency you like.

Pour into glasses and serve straight away, while it’s cold and fresh.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use frozen fruit instead of fresh?

Yes — frozen blueberries and peaches work just as well as fresh, and frozen fruit gives the smoothie a thicker, colder texture without needing extra ice.

Can I make this smoothie dairy-free?

You can swap the Greek yogurt and milk for dairy-free alternatives such as coconut yogurt and a plant-based milk. The texture and taste will vary slightly but it will still be delicious.

How long will the smoothie keep?

Smoothies are best enjoyed fresh, right after blending, as the texture and flavour are at their best. If needed, you can store leftovers in a sealed container in the fridge for a few hours, but give it a good stir or re-blend before drinking.

Is this smoothie a good breakfast option?

Yes, it makes a handy grab-and-go breakfast or snack, especially paired with a slice of toast or some granola for extra staying power.
