  • 2 tins of chickpeas
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 dessert spoons tahini paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Method

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and blitz with a hand blender until smooth. If the mixture is too thick, add a little water to thin it to your preferred consistency.

Serve with pitta bread, carrot and celery sticks, or homemade breadsticks for dipping.
