David Beckham is known for a lot of things — football, fashion, four kids — but did you know he’s also a genuine LEGO enthusiast? A few years back, the dad-of-four shared his latest build on Instagram, and 4,000 pieces later, he’d completed the LEGO Disney Castle for his princess-mad daughter Harper.

Beckham posted a photo to Instagram surrounded by all 4,080 pieces of the LEGO Disney Castle, captioned: “Page 1 of the Disney castle, 4000 pieces 490 pages of instructions I look confused but I’m so excited.”

A few days later, he shared a photo of the finished castle, captioned: “1am done… Someone’s gonna have a nice surprise in the morning 👼 zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz ❤️”
This wasn’t the first time Beckham had talked LEGO on social media. Back in 2014, he told The Sunday Times that building LEGO helped him de-stress, saying it “helps to calm me down.” That year, his big project was the LEGO Tower Bridge set, coming in at a hefty 4,287 pieces.
Even earlier, in 2010, Beckham did a live webchat with fans and spoke about his love of LEGO, having just finished the LEGO Taj Mahal — a huge 5,922-piece build. Fans clearly took note: sales of that model reportedly jumped by 663% afterwards.
