So what’s going to be big in kids movies this year? We’ve got the inside scoop on the upcoming movie releases – here are Sneak Previews of some of the Hottest Kids Movies 2018:

1. Arctic Justice: Thunder Squad

Swifty the Arctic fox works in the mailroom of the Arctic Blast Delivery Service but dreams of one day becoming a Top Dog (the Arctic’s star husky couriers). To prove himself worthy of the Top Dog role, Swifty secretly commandeers one of the sleds and delivers a package to a mysterious location. He stumbles upon a secret fortress where he comes face to face with Otto Von Walrus, a blubbery evil genius who walks around on mechanical legs and commands a loyal army of oddly polite puffin henchmen.

Swifty soon discovers Von Walrus’ plan to melt the polar ice caps and flood the world in order to reign supreme. Now, Swifty has to enlist the help of his friends: PB, a concerned polar bear, Lemmy, a scatterbrained albatross, Bertha and Leopold, two conspiracy theorist otters and Jade, a worldly fox. This ragtag group of Arctic misfits has to band together to stop Von Walrus’ sinister plans and save the day.

2. Peter Rabbit

Peter Rabbit, the mischievous and adventurous hero who has captivated generations of readers, now takes on the starring role of his own irreverent, contemporary comedy with attitude. In the film, Peter’s feud with Mr. McGregor (Domhnall Gleeson) escalates to greater heights than ever before as they rival for the affections of the warm-hearted animal lover who lives next door (Rose Byrne).

James Corden voices the character of Peter with playful spirit and wild charm, with Margot Robbie, Elizabeth Debicki, and Daisy Ridley performing the voice roles of the triplets, Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cottontail.

3. Sherlock Gnomes

First introduced in the film Gnomeo and Juliet, the adorable title characters and their garden ornament friends have a new adventure featuring the legendary Sherlock Gnomes. In the heart of London, gnomes are disappearing from the gardens. Gnomeo (James McAvoy) and Juliet (Emily Blunt) join forces with the great Sherlock Gnomes (Johnny Depp) and Watson to discover what is behind the mystery.

4. Duck Duck Goose

In Duck Duck Goose, a high-flying bachelor goose named Peng (voiced by Jim Gaffigan) is injured in flight and finds himself saddled with two adorably hilarious and demanding ducklings (voiced by Zendaya and Lance Lim), on a long journey south that will turn this scrappy threesome into a family.

5. Animal Crackers

A workaholic dad, stuck in a nowhere job, inherits a rundown circus from a distant relative he hardly knew. On the brink of losing his job, his house, and his sanity… he uncovers a magical box of Animal Crackers that gives him the uncanny ability to become any animal from the box.

6. Incredibles 2

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voiced by Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob at home with Violet and Dash to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers.

When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voiced by Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

7. Hotel Transylvania 3

In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans.

But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.

8. Barbie

A Barbie doll living in Barbieland is expelled from the world for not being perfect enough, too eccentric and not fitting the usual mold. She goes on an adventure in the real world and by the time she returns to Barbieland to save it, she has gained the realization that perfection comes on the inside, not the outside, and that the key to happiness is belief in oneself. Stars Anne Hathaway.

9. The Kid Who Would Be King

The Kid Who Would Be King, starring Patrick Stewart, tells the story of Alex, a 12-year-old British schoolboy whose everyday problems are dwarfed by his discovery of the mythical sword Excalibur.

Now, with the most powerful sword in history in the hands of the most powerless schoolboy in Britain, an epic adventure begins as Alex and his friends must thwart a medieval villain named Morgana, who is hell-bent on destroying the world.

10. Smallfoot

An animated adventure for all ages, with original music and an all-star cast, including Channing Tatum, James Corden, Gina Rodriguez and Danny DeVito, “Smallfoot” turns the Bigfoot legend upside down when a bright young Yeti finds something he thought didn’t exist—a human. News of this “smallfoot” brings him fame and a chance with the girl of his dreams.  It also throws the simple Yeti community into an uproar over what else might be out there in the big world beyond their snowy village, in a rollicking story about friendship, courage and the joy of discovery.

11. Gigantic

Gigantic is the latest Disney animation movie, set in Spain during the Age of Exploration, it follows a teenage adventure-seeker Jack as he discovers a world of giants hidden within the clouds, along the way he meet Inma, a 60-foot-tall, 10 year-old girl, and agrees to help her find her way home. But he doesn’t account for her super-sized personality-and who knew giants were so down to earth?

12. Mary Poppins Returns

Set in Depression-era London of the 1930s, Mary Poppins Returns sees Michael and Jane Banks now grown up. After Michael suffers a personal loss, Mary Poppins (played by Emily Blunt) re-enters the lives of the Banks family and, along with the street lamplighter Jack, uses her unique magical skills to help the family rediscover the joy and wonder missing in their lives.
