Best Child Friendly Restaurants in the South East

Looking for somewhere child friendly to eat out in the South East?  Here is our pick of the top child friendly restaurants in Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford and Waterford.

In our experience buggies are rarely welcome anywhere. Some places will take buggies from you at the door, others will quite simply refuse you entry.  So when possible if dining out with a young baby bring the car-seat and with an older baby or toddler you will find high chairs / booster seats in any child friendly eatery.  Here’s what we think makes a restaurant child-friendly.

From The Forge to Lord Bagenal’s Restaurant and Bar, Carlow has lots of good restaurants to offer families. Find out Best Child Friendly Restaurants in Carlow here.

Wexford has a great choice of restaurants for families, including Wexford Lavendar Farm, Greenacres, D’Lush Cafe & lots more too.

From The Kilkenny Design Centre and Ripley’s Steakhouse are popular choices, find out why and read more here.

Jack Meade’s and La Bodega are on the list for child-friendly Waterford restaurants.
