Looking for easy halloween recipes for kids? We made some fun spooky Halloween witches fingers, and all  you need are 3 simple ingredients.  The kids will enjoy rolling out and sprinkling and making the fingers!

  • 1 packet ready-made Puff Pastry defrosted.
  • 4 oz grated cheddar cheese
  • Almonds or pumpkin seeds

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200 deg C.

Cut your defrosted puff pastry block into 4 equal squares.

Roll out one portion thinly.

Sprinkle some grated cheese on it.

Step 2

Then fold over in thirds folding in from the sides lengthways.

Then fold in from the top and bottom in thirds.

Now roll this out very thinly again and cut into strips.

After trial and error funnily enough I found strips the width of actual fingers the best.

Too big and they were too fat, too thin and they broke when cooked. The ones in the picture here were actually a little too wide.

Step 3

Brush with egg wash and place an almond or a pumpkin seed (for the witchy nail!) into the top and bake for approx 10-15mins in the hot oven.

Take out and cool on a wire tray.

Enjoy! They are really moreish! I had trouble keeping any for the party!!!
