Make a day out and head to Ireland’s first Lavender Farm, located in the beautiful North Wexford countryside. Enjoy yummy homemade treats or lunch in The Purple Haze Cafe.

With a good kids menu, you’ll be able to relax and enjoy your lunch too. Afterwards, enjoy the Farm which includes several acres of lavender, woodland walks, rides on “Billy the friendly Bull” quad barrel train, and an outdoor playground.

Green Acres, Selskar

Green Acres in Selskar is a great family-friendly restaurant. The food is delicious and their kids menu is unique and varied. They also have an art gallery and a food and wine store.

Eco Pizzeria & Restaurant, Gorey

Eco’s specialise in a wide variety of international dishes, including a selection of Italian, Asian and Mexican menu choices and of course, delicious home made gourmet burgers and prime beef steaks. There is also a special 2 course kids set menu.

Meyler’s, next to one of the last remaining intact windmills in Ireland, has brilliant food and kids menu. They have very creative kids deserts too, such as “Dirt and Worms” (cookies and ice cream).

Karoo Farm Shop & Cafe, Killinick

Wholesome and tasty, the menu offering at Karoo is the perfect choice for a coffee morning, casual lunch, or afternoon treat. A wide range of toasties, salads and some more substantial options are followed by treats and tasty morsels.

Roches Bar & Restaurant, Duncannon

Roches Bar & Restaurant is a traditional Irish pub that have a fantastic kids menu with lots of healthy choices from home-made chicken goujons to kids’ chicken curry.

Kilcannon Restaurant, Garden Centre, Old Dublin Road

A treasure tucked away enroute to Enniscorthy, Kilcannon Restaurant is a nice airy family friendly space that does great food at good prices. Ample parking and an ideal stop off if you’re en-route to Wexford Town or New Ross from Dublin. After the Carlow roundabout on the way into Enniscorthy take the second left. This will you bring you straight down to a T-junction and Kilcannon Nurseries are straight across on the left. The restaurant is accessed through the Garden Centre.

Katie Daly’s, Gorey

Situated in the heart of Gorey town, Katie Daly’s has a nice children’s menu with pasta, burgers, baby bowls and kids margarita flatbreads.

Templars Inn, Fethard-on-Sea

Located along the historic Norman Way in Templetown, Templars Inn has beautiful panoramic views from the large decking area across Templetown Bay to Dunmore East, Waterford.

Templars Inn specialises in seafood but has a menu which caters for all tastes. They have a varied children’s menu and a baby bowl is also available.

Situated in the picturesque village of Kilmore, Mary Barry’s Bar is renowned for its friendly atmosphere and fabulous locally sourced seafood.

Mary Barry’s is a holiday favourite in the summer months with a family-friendly walled beer garden to the rear, but equally popular in the cooler months with cosy wood-burning stoves.
