Established in Ireland in 1951, Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ireland has helped hundreds of children and young adults realise their full potential. They help sick, disadvantaged and children with special needs from all 32 counties of Ireland regardless of their race, religion or gender, to enhance and advance their mental and physical abilities.
They are a non-government funded organisation whose professional volunteers lend their time to fundraise. Funds raised are then used to supply actual equipment like iPads, Trikes etc. along with co-funding various projects around Ireland for children living with both physical and mental disabilities. All funds raised go directly to the children they serve.
