The parent company of Imagine Kids + Family signed an agreement with Rebel Girls to produce a wide range of original content for screens, including films and series inspired by the much-loved book series.
Rebel Girls Heads to TV and Film
Since launching, Rebel Girls has sold more than 6.5 million copies of its Good Night Stories series in 49 languages across 85 countries.
The Rebel Girls podcast has also proved hugely popular, racking up millions of downloads across its run of seasons.
With a mission to inspire future generations of girls and to address the unequal representation in media that has contributed to lower confidence in girls, Rebel Girls saw this partnership as a chance to bring their brand to kids’ television.
The best-selling book series Good Night Stories is the inspiration for the partnership, with plans to showcase key leaders, innovators, creators and pioneers throughout history. The partnership’s plans include feature films as well as scripted and unscripted series.
