To launch its LEGO DOTS range, LEGO teamed up with French designer Camille Walala and around 180 children (plus quite a few enthusiastic adults) to build something rather special: an entire House of Dots.

For the launch, LEGO worked with Camille Walala to create an actual five-room house — built from eight shipping containers — and decorated from top to bottom in dots. Fittingly, they called it the House of Dots.
Every inch of the interactive house had been given the dot treatment. Floors, walls, furniture, rugs and frames — even the smallest details were covered in bold, colourful dots.
It’s probably not the calmest décor you’ll ever see, but it certainly showed off what LEGO DOTS is all about!

What is LEGO DOTS?
LEGO DOTS is all about creating, designing and decorating. It’s a 2D tile-based play concept that gives children a creative canvas for self-expression. Built around multiple shapes and colourful tiles, the range spans everything from wearables to room décor, with surfaces designed for individual customisation.
The range also includes a wide variety of mood tiles — facial expressions, music notes, cosmic planets, star nights, paw prints, rainbows and more — giving young creatives plenty to play with.
There are no rules with these sets, just blank canvases, colourful tiles and a child’s imagination. Arts and crafts lovers can dive in, create something new on the go, then redesign it any time they like.
