LEGO advent calendars have become incredibly popular over the past few years, with LEGO City, Friends and Star Wars options to choose from.
After the sell-out success of the LEGO Harry Potter sets last year – which included Hogwarts, a quidditch pitch, and the Hogwarts Express – the announcement that there will be a LEGO Harry Potter advent calendar for 2019 is exciting. But if you plan on purchasing one, I have a feeling you’ll want to be prepared and buy it early. It’s bound to be the most in-demand calendar this year and will most likely sell out well in advance of Christmas.

LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar: The Details
The 305-piece set is hidden behind 24 individual doors. Behind each door is a Potter-inspired LEGO piece to build and enjoy. By the time you have opened all the doors, you’ll have a fun Hogwarts Christmas scene, including the Great Hall tables with accessories, Christmas decorations, house crests, a buildable fireplace and a micro Hogwarts Express train.
The best part though is that the calendar will include seven mini-figures to play with: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Professor McGonagall, Albus Dumbledore, Professor Flitwick, and the Hogwarts Architect, plus a Hedwig figure. Even after the Christmas season, these LEGO mini-figures will offer lots of fun creative play.
Estimated release date is September 1st 2019, so keep your eyes peeled and buy in plenty of time to save any disappointment and pre-Christmas stress!
