Best Child Friendly Restaurants in Cavan

Are you looking for child friendly restaurants in Cavan? There are so many great restaurants in Cavan to choose from, but the problem often for parents is which one will cater for all of the family. In no particular order, here’s the Mykidstime Top Child Friendly Restaurants in Cavan.

In our opinion, a family friendly restaurant should have an imaginative children’s menu, plenty of high chairs, colouring materials and changing areas for babies. Some places are great, while others can leave you feeling distinctly underwhelmed by the welcome! Here’s what we think makes a restaurant child-friendly.

Chapter 1

Well known for being “a great spot for lunch”, Chapter 1 serves yummy Bagels and also home-made lunches.  Being “Cavan town” there are stairs to the front entrance, but there is a buggy friendly entrance at the back.

The Kilmore Hotel, Cavan

The Kilmore Hotel, has a great carvery as well as bar food and the Analee Restaurant is really excellent. A very family-friendly establishment that has high chairs and a varied menu.

The Lisgrey House, Virgina

The Lisgrey House, is a great spot with a relaxed atmosphere, serving bar and restaurant meals.

Lakeside Manor, Virginia

Lakeside Manor – On a sunny day you can’t beat the Lakeside. Lives up to its name being on the lake with wonderful views and watersports to watch! Excellent bar menu.

The Olde Post Inn, Cloverhill

The Olde Post Inn, is a lovely spot if looking for something extra special, with wonderful, really excellent food, plenty of highchairs and baby changing facilities.
