Are you looking for Easter crafts for kids? Here’s a creative and easy way to decorate your Easter Eggs this year. Kids will love to watch as the crayons melt creating a cool marbled effect on the eggs. Almost like magic!

You will need:

  • Crayons
  • Eggs
  • Paper to cover your work surface
  • Grater

Sponsored by our friends at the Art & Craft Co., online or in-store in Ennis, Co. Clare.

Method:

  1. Small grate the crayons onto the paper.
  2. Hard boil your eggs.
  3. While the eggs are warm, place one on the paper and drop the crayon shavings over it. Watch as they melt into swirls over the egg.
  4. Let the eggs cool. You can use them as a centerpiece for your Easter table, or hide them for a fun Easter egg hunt.

Get Creative!

Why not sprinkle a bit of glitter or sequins over the eggs as well.
