Are you looking for Easter crafts for kids? Here’s a creative and easy way to decorate your Easter Eggs this year. Kids will love to watch as the crayons melt creating a cool marbled effect on the eggs. Almost like magic!
You will need:
- Crayons
- Eggs
- Paper to cover your work surface
- Grater
Sponsored by our friends at the Art & Craft Co., online or in-store in Ennis, Co. Clare.
Method:
- Small grate the crayons onto the paper.
- Hard boil your eggs.
- While the eggs are warm, place one on the paper and drop the crayon shavings over it. Watch as they melt into swirls over the egg.
- Let the eggs cool. You can use them as a centerpiece for your Easter table, or hide them for a fun Easter egg hunt.
Get Creative!
Why not sprinkle a bit of glitter or sequins over the eggs as well.
