After a sell out 2017 experience, Santa and his merry band of elves are looking forward to returning to Galway and meeting all the wonderful boy and girls at Elf Town. This year’s Christmas experience returns even BIGGER and BETTER with lots of new characters to guide you on your way as well as new and exciting additions to bring smiles to all faces. From the moment you enter Elf Town, families will feel as if they have landed in the North Pole and children will get a real winter wonderland experience.
The Elf Town Experience includes:
- A 90 minute interactive journey through Elf Town starts when you receive your Elf Town Passport
- A magical winter wonderland Christmas adventure over 4 floors

Elf Town opens on Saturday the 24th of November 2018 and every Fri/Sat/Sun until the 23rd of December 2018, including the full week prior to Christmas.
2017 was a sell out and there are limited spaces available on each experience. Bookings open on August 8th and Pre Booking is essential. Elf Training at Croke Park, Dublin
Have you ever wondered what it takes to become one of Santa’s trusty elves? This year, why not find out at The Elves in Training Santa Experience at Croke Park from November 24th?
The Elves in Training Academy runs from November 24th to December 23rd 2018. Pre Booking Essential as places fill up fast! Each child will get to take part in Elf Training with Santa and his helpers in the specially designed elf camp at the GAA HQ. Each ‘elf’ will become a member of the North Pole Football, Hurling & Camogie Club, managed by Santa!
Each member of his elite Elf Squad will get to visit the mesmerising snow tunnel, the North Pole team changing rooms. While you’re there make sure you listen for banter in the shower room to see who’s made it to the naughty or nice list! You might also need to hold your nose as you leave the dressing room, as the trainee Elves’ don’t usually listen to Mrs Claus when she tells them to pick up their dirty gear!
One of the highlights of the magical trail is a visit to Santa’s Bainisteoir’s office, the heart of all the action, where Santa reviews tactics and selects his dream team for the big journey on Christmas Eve.
After this meet and greet with Santa, where every child will receive a gift and get their professional photo taken, your family can run out pitch-side, like their GAA heroes, and take their own Croke Park ‘Elfies’, making even more magical memories.
You will then get complimentary admission to the GAA Museum, where you can discover two floors of interactive exhibits. Marvel at the original Sam Maguire and Liam MacCarthy cups and test your hurling and football skills in the museum’s Interactive Games Zone!
Elf & Fairy Village at Castlecomer Discovery Park, Kilkenny
Last Christmas, Santa had to come and relocate himself in the heart of the Elf Village at Castlecomer Discovery Park, it appears that the elves were having too much fun on the adventure activities around the park. Someone had to make sure they were getting their toys made on time! He liked it so much, himself and Mrs. Claus are coming back again this year to take residence in their igloo homes nestled in the woodlands from November 24th to December 23rd.
This year the experience is going to be bigger and better, with hundreds of light installations around the estate to bring lots of festive cheer. In addition to their craft tent and junior adventure playground, they also have their newest activity the bouncing nets. So children can come and play in the Christmas village before going to meet Mrs. Claus and Santa. This is truly a unique Santa experience!
Santa and Elfie are at Brigit’s Garden, Galway
Conjure up the real magic and wonder of Christmas with Santa’s Christmas Magic at Brigit’s Garden on various dates from December 2nd to 23rd 2018 Santa and Elfie are back with lots of extra fun activities!
Elfie and Santa will be joined by Mrs Claus and Donnie the donkey to make a full Santa experience with the professional show as the delightful highlight of the day, with lots of music, fun, candlelight and Christmas magic!
Visits last approx. 2.5 hrs and favourites include; making Christmas decorations with Mrs. Claus, singing with Elfie, lighting candles with Santa, enjoying mulled apple punch, a treasure hunt around the Celtic garden to find Elfies lost presents and of course the highlight of the show when everyone lights the Christmas tree with magic.

Elf Chocolate Workshops at Chocolate Garden, Carlow
There are Christmas Elf Chocolate Workshop at Chocolate Garden in Tullow, Co. Carlow on various dates during November and December. Join in with the elves in a Magical, Fun-filled Chocolate-Making workshop. Enjoy a live link with the North Pole, in contact with both the Elf Workshop there and a live link with Santa himself who will address the boys and girls personally – but only if they are on the good list!
Roll up your sleeves and make a chocolate Christmas figure to take home; decorate a chocolate bar for Santa… And there’ll be lots of tastings and chocolate fun in between. To finish off, enjoy a warm drink of real hot chocolate. Trainee Elves will receive a Certificate.

ELF The Musical at Belfast Waterfront Hall
Buddy the Elf is Coming to Town… Everyone’s favourite ELF comes to Belfast in the holiday classic, ELF The Musical. Playing a limited engagement on 23rd and 24th November, the Belfast Operatic Company will be giving this Irish premiere production at The Waterfront Hall. Based on the iconic film starring Will Ferrell, this heart-warming tale of Buddy the Elf leaving Santa at the North Pole to seek his real father in New York is a Christmas classic.

Elf on the Shelf Day at Arnotts Dublin
Start your own Christmas tradition at the Elf on the Shelf Roadshow, in-store at Arnotts in Dublin on Sunday, 3rd December. Visit the Childrenswear Department on Basement Level to enjoy a day of fun activities. The Elf on the Shelf will be making a special appearance in-store from 11am! The day of festive fun will include the Elf’s team helping write and shrink your Santa letter, a magical storyteller, a selection of arts and crafts and a special screening of An Elf’s Story.
Elf at Odeon Cinemas

Odeon Cinemas will be showing Elf on Sunday 9th December and Wednesday 12th December, at cinemas in Blanchardstown, Cavan, Charlestown, Coolock, Limerick, Naas, Point Square, Portlaoise, Stillorgan and Waterford.
Elf at The Pavilion Theatre
Elf is also showing at The Pavilion Theatre, the showing on Saturday 22nd December is sold out but at time of writing there are still tickets for Wednesday 19th December at 5pm, pre-booking recommended. Family ticket (4 people) is €22.
