We’re absolutely delighted to share some exciting news from our own MyKidsTime story: we won Best Social Media for the second year running at the OMiG Digital Marketing Awards in Galway.
A Wonderful Night for the Team
The awards ceremony took place on a Wednesday evening in April, bringing together local marketers and businesses from across the West of Ireland to celebrate great work in online marketing. Winning Best Social Media once again was a huge honour, and a lovely reminder of how far our online community has grown.
What the Night Was About
Alongside the awards, the evening featured a panel discussion exploring what small and medium businesses could learn from multinational companies when it comes to social media strategy. The speakers included:
- Caitriona O’Kennedy, Head of Marketing Communications, IDA Ireland
- Pauric Lenehan, Senior Digital and Online Manager, Aviva
- Joan Mulvihill, CEO, Irish Internet Association
Their insights on building an effective online presence gave everyone in the room plenty to think about, whether they were running a small local business or a much bigger operation.
