Yes, it started life as a bit of a PR stunt – but we love all things LEGO here at Mykidstime, so we couldn’t resist sharing it. Center Parcs teamed up with internationally renowned LEGO artists, mother and son duo Jessica and Faolán Farrell from Rathangan, Co. Kildare, to create a show-stopping LEGO replica of the resort’s Subtropical Swimming Paradise.
The Build
The 2m x 1.5m LEGO model took 105 days to build using 55,667 LEGO bricks, and it showcases the swimming paradise at Center Parcs Longford Forest – the resort’s own subtropical pool complex, heated year-round and surrounded by tropical plants.

Meet the Artists
Jessica Farrell explains that her love of LEGO began when she was just four years old. She says, “When I was asked by Center Parcs to collaborate on something so exciting, and to do so with my own son, Faolán, I jumped at the chance.” 55,667 bricks and 840 hours later, the Subtropical Swimming Paradise had taken shape in LEGO form.
