1. Glencar Hill Walk

Glencar Waterfall, Formoyle, Co Leitrim – ICP (1)

The Glencar Hill Walk follows the shores of Glencar Lake and the spectacular Glencar Waterfall towards Dooneens. There’s a climb to get going, but this easy-to-moderate walk rewards you with incredible views over Sligo Bay, Knocknarea, Truskmore, Leanne, the Leitrim hills and Glencar Lake and Valley.

The walk is on forest paths and tracks, self-guided, with a choice of three varied circular signposted routes.

7. Drumleague Lock Loop Walk

This 5km loop starts at Battlebridge Lock and follows the canal to Drumleague Lock. After crossing the canal at the lock, simply follow the trail back to Battlebridge Lock to complete the circuit.
