Our children simply don’t have the type of childhood that we had where we ran free all day and only came home at dinner time. Many parents worry about their child’s safety and we have a video for you to watch along with a very simple tip for you to help keep kids safe:

Please watch this video by Joey Salads which shows how frighteningly easy it is for a stranger to walk off with your child. Most parents think they have drummed it into their children not to go off with strangers.

Here is our tip: create a password that only you and your child know. Tell them that if anyone strange approaches them and wants them to look at puppies or says something like “your Mum or Dad sent me to collect you” that your child should ask the stranger for the Password. If they don’t know the Password then they should not go with the stranger.
