About “One Small Change”
The pupils made the video with the help of Cork producer Garry McCarthy of Cork City’s GMC Beats.

Teacher Olive Creed says the kids were inspired by a project they undertook looking at plastic waste in Bantry Bay. The children came up with the idea of creating a music video to encourage other people to change their habits, writing the concept and the rap themselves, which Garry then helped them record.
The central message — “we can all make a difference in our own small way” — is one we can definitely get behind.
A Message Worth Sharing
The video captured plenty of attention when it was released, with the school’s Facebook page sharing updates as more and more people watched and shared it.
