A Broadway Opening to Remember
Frozen: The Broadway Musical opened at the St James Theatre in New York, and the response from critics and audiences was overwhelmingly positive. Reports at the time noted extraordinary opening ticket sales, with the show setting a new house record for weekly box office takings at the theatre.

From Screen to Stage
Bringing Frozen to Broadway meant reimagining the story — the songs, the sets, the ice-and-snow effects that made the film so visually striking — for a live theatre audience. Fans of the original movie will recognise the heart of the story, alongside new staging and musical moments created specifically for the Broadway production.
Disney has continued to expand the Frozen story across film as well as stage, so it’s easy to see why the musical struck such a chord with fans who’d already fallen for Anna and Elsa on screen.
