Frequently Asked Questions

Can I make this milkshake dairy-free?

Yes – simply swap the milk and ice cream for your favourite dairy-free alternatives, such as oat milk and a dairy-free vanilla ice cream or yoghurt.

Can I use frozen strawberries instead of fresh?

Absolutely. Frozen strawberries work well and give the milkshake a thicker, extra-cold texture straight from the blender.

Is this milkshake suitable for younger children?

It’s a simple, kid-friendly recipe, but as with any treat containing dairy and fruit, use your judgement based on your own child’s age and any allergies.

Can I make it ahead of time?

This milkshake is best blended fresh and enjoyed straight away, as it can separate slightly if left to sit.
