Searching for the items that begin with the letters of the alphabet can help reinforce letter learning with younger children, while older kids still enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
As well as practising their letters, they get to practise writing and have the fun of a scavenger hunt at the same time.
You could do this scavenger hunt indoors, outdoors in the garden, or make it a mix of both. It would also make a fun birthday party game!

Try Our Fun Alphabet Scavenger Hunt
From A to Z, your kids will enjoy the challenge of ticking off the alphabet as they find things beginning with those letters on the list. If they are able to write, they can fill in the words for the items they find. Bonus points if your find is different from everyone else!
