Located in the centre of Carrick on Shannon, Co. Leitrim, above the popular An Poitín Still, Ridgerock offers family friendly rates for 1 & 2 night stays mid-week, which are especially popular during the summer holidays and during mid-term breaks.
Ridegrock accommodation comprises of large family rooms, which are suitable for up to 6 people. Each room is en-suite with a flat screen TV, fridge and faciliites for making tea/coffee and cereal and treats are provided for the kids.
Carrick and the surrounding area has so much to offer, from the Bluebell woods in Ardcarne and the Shannon Blueway walk at Acres Lake (which are both free), to unique boat tours and excellent family friendly activities, which are designed and suitable for our weather.

The Inn at Dromoland, Co. Clare
Samantha recommended the Inn at Dromoland: “We have 3 kids. We’ve stayed at The Inn at Dromoland – a massive room with a double and 3 single beds, swimming pool, indoor play centre, playground, tennis court and access to the grounds of Dromoland Castle.”
The Inn at Dromoland is ideal for families of all sizes, with spacious rooms accommodating up to 2 adults and 3 children along with 20 interconnecting rooms for larger families. Joanne loved the Talbot Suites at Stonebridge “The sea view apartments are fab”.

Springhill Court Hotel, Kilkenny
Liz recommended the Springhill Court Hotel in Kilkenny. At the Springhill Court Hotel they offer family friendly rooms catering for families of all sizes. The family rooms come with a spacious ensuite bathroom that includes a power shower and bath. Alternatively extra camp beds and cots are available upon request at no additional cost. Clayton Whites of Wexford
Claire is a big fan of Clayton Whites of Wexford, their newly refurbished family rooms are located on the 2nd floor of the hotel and are easily accessible by lift from both the hotel lobby and car park. These superior rooms consist of 1 double bed and 2 single beds, comfortably accommodating 2 adults and 2 children. Families can also be accommodated in the Classic or Superior rooms, which have 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Interconnecting family rooms are also available in either the Classic or Superior Room types, with 1 double bed and 1 single bed in each room. Cots and extra beds are available on request.

Dingle Skellig Hotel, Co. Kerry
Eamon enjoyed his stay at the Dingle Skellig Hotel, “We stayed with 3 kids in connecting rooms”.
At the Dingle Skellig Hotel, Graham and his team fully understand that for many families keeping kids of different ages happy can be one of the greatest challenges on holiday. A unique aspect of the hotel is that guests as young as four months old are welcomed in to their Skellig Creche which specifically caters in the hotel for children aged 4 months to 4 years old, providing a safe and welcoming environment with lots of fun activities. They also run the Fungi Kids club for ages 4+ and offer a Klub Room for older kids with Xboxes, a pool table, Play Stations and protected internet access.
Lough Allen Hotel, Co. Leitrim

Carrigaline Court Hotel, Co. Cork
Geneviève loved her stay with her 3 kids in the Carrigaline Court Hotel.
At the four-star Carrigaline Court Hotel their spacious family bedrooms consist of a queen sized double bed and up to two single beds, and they also offer interconnecting rooms to larger families. Babysitting facilities can be pre-booked at reception. As well as a spacious leisure centre which acts as the perfect indoor playground with 20m pool and separate shallow kiddies pool, they also offer a complimentary CAMP ROCK Kid’s Club during school holidays for children aged 5 to 12 years.
Bloomfield House Hotel, Co. Westmeath
