Every year I take along my waffle iron to the Christmas fair and make fresh waffles. Here’s my easy waffle batter recipe, and then you just need some toppings like
- Nutella or chocolate spread
- sliced banana
- frozen mixed berries defrosted in advance
- whipped cream
- and some confectioner/icing sugar sprinkled on top (I bring a little tea strainer) to make the waffles look extra pretty
- don’t forget paper plates and forks for people to eat their waffles with.
